The other night I saw in a dream
something I saw the light of day long,
a path in the woods rained down, a shaft of light
and two girls walking together in the shade,
by glare, until I lost the pass
in the gloom which spread its branches beyond the clearing.
The bright forget that corresponds to the day
covered his footprints, none of them was
until darkness brought them back
the sparkle of the drops and silver light
old leaves had not fallen since.
Two girls forever out of sight,
speaking of lovers, perhaps, and love;
not that blind life which would be mothers.
